Candle Care
So now you have your soy candle. Here are a few tips on how to best take care of your new candle.

Jar Candle Care
IMPORTANT: If you've just created your first soy wax candle, remember to wait 7 days before lighting it. This allows the wax to fully cure, giving you the best possible scent throw and burn performance. Then you can sit back and enjoy your beautiful creation!
- Before each burn, trim the wick to 6mm.
- Allow the wax to melt evenly across the entire surface before extinguishing the candle. This helps prevent tunnelling and ensures an even burn.
- Please remove any large decorative garnishes before lighting your candle. If there are small dried flowers or shells close to the wick, gently remove them using a teaspoon before burning.
Maximum burn times:
- 90ml: 15–20 hours
- 220ml: 30–35 hours
- 550ml: 60–65 hours
- Never burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time.
- When not in use, store your candle in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
- Our natural soy wax is sensitive (that's how you know it's natural!). Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight may cause discolouration and affect the fragrance throw.
- Always keep a burning candle within sight and extinguish it before leaving the room or going to bed.
- If your candle isn't producing a strong fragrance throw, allow it to burn for 3–4 hours at a time. This gives the wax enough time to melt fully and release the fragrance as intended.
- For the best scent throw, use smaller candles in smaller rooms and larger candles in larger spaces. Keep candles away from fans, open windows and air vents while burning, as airflow can affect performance.

Body Candle Care
- Our body candles are primarily for decoration but if you choose to burn them, please burn them on a flat heat proof plate or surface. Once lit keep away from any furniture or flammable sources.
- If your torso candle starts catching some dust, simply wipe it down with a dry cloth and it will be good as new!
- These candles are made of natural soy wax so in hot months, place them away from direct sunlight to prevent melting
- These candles are made from natural soy wax, this means that sometimes they can start to acquire frosting.
- If your candle starts to frost, gently buff the frosting away with a soft cloth or your finger to remove frosting. Don't worry this just means that your beautiful candle is all natural!
